Allergy Care & Treatment

Allergy Treatment and Relief You have an allergy when your body overreacts to things that don't cause problems for most people. These things are called allergens. Examples of common allergens include pollens, dust mites, molds, dander, and foods. When your body overreacts to these allergens irritation can occur. For example, your body may have an allergic reaction to seasonal allergens in the air such as grass or pollen causing a runny nose and watery eyes. This type of reaction is often referred to as "hay fever."

Allergy Treatments

In order to effectively treat your allergies we will first perform a skin allergy test to determine what exactly is causing your allergies. Our allergy treatment involves a form of immunotherapy known as Sublingual Immunotherapy. This treatment is administered by placing a sublingual drop under the tongue, which can be done in the comfort of your home and is monitored every 12 weeks by your physician. No more weekly painful allergy shots!
