Dr. Christine Harter
A 1985 graduate of Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Dr. Harter practiced internal medicine for 15 years in Baltimore before moving to the Valley in 2000 to practice headache medicine. She is board certified in internal medicine and became one of only two physicians in Arizona to pass the first national board exam in headache medicine in 2006. She brings a holistic approach to headache treatment, addressing diet and other lifestyle factors before proceeding to medications. Her emphasis is always on prevention. Dr. Harter has administered Botox with great success to hundreds of headache patients from all over Arizona since 2004. She has experienced migraines personally, creating a passion for helping headache patients regain control of their lives.

Dr. Usma Ahmad
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Usma Ahmad has recently joined our medical practice beginning September 1st, 2011.
Growing up in Northern California, Dr. Ahmad attended the University of California at Davis near her hometown. After receiving her medical degree with first division honors from the King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan, she completed her post-doctoral research at Yale University and trained in Internal Medicine at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, an affiliate of Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. Her background includes an assignment as a hospitalist at Melrose-Wakefield and Lawrence Memorial Hospitals, also located in Boston. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Her medical interests include general adult medicine, women’s health, and international health policy. Over the years, she has collaborated and assisted with numerous policy groups of which included the Human Development Taskforce. Her research involved various work in community health with emphasis on delivering primary care to impoverished areas in underserved countries.
Dr. Ahmad resides in Scottsdale, AZ with her family. She enjoys traveling, reading and playing the violin when she is not practicing medicine.
